The Bimbadgen Estate range of wines from Bimbadgen consist of classic Hunter Valley varietals crafted in a traditional style from within Australia’s oldest wine region - the Hunter Valley.

This Chardonnay shows complex elements of stone fruit aromas with a palate full of fresh nectarine and cashew nut flavours. The perfect accompaniment to a range of white meats and rissotto, this Chardonnay has been created to drink now or will benefit from careful cellaring.

A number of techniques were employed in the making of this wine, including barrel fermentation in new and old barrels, tank fermentation, fermentation with ‘wild’ and cultured yeasts and lees stirring. No malolactic fermentation was allowed and all the wine both in tank and barrel was aged on yeast lees and stirred monthly. The barrels emptied for blending in October.
