The Bimbadgen Estate range of wines from Bimbadgen consist of classic Hunter Valley varietals crafted in a traditional style from within Australia’s oldest wine region - the Hunter Valley.

This Chardonnay is a delicious wine with sweet aromas of blossoms and grapefruit with a touch of pineapple. The refreshing palate of lemon citrus and pear fruit flavours is enhanced with a touch of toasty cashew nut from barrel maturation. The perfect accompaniment to a range of white meats and stir-fries, this Chardonnay may benefit from some careful cellaring if you can wait, otherwise enjoy in it’s youth.

Oxidative handling until in stainless steel tanks, the juice was chilled and allowed to settle for 24 hours to retain some level of solids. Some barrel fermentation in new and old barrels including 500 L puncheons and stainless steel tank fermentation. Fermentation was carried out primarily with ‘wild’ indigenous yeast. Some lees stirring for palate weight coupled with a small percentage of malo-lactic fermentation.
