  • Grown:
The majority of grapes for this blend were harvested from Bimbadgen’s long term contract vineyard at Yenda, within the Riverina region and combined with fruit from selected vineyards in the Hunter Valley.
  • Picked:
The Semillon, Verdelho and Chardonnay grapes were picked over several days in February and March of 2009. The aim was to pick early to create a fresh, light and aromatic style. The Hunter portion was picked first week in January 2009.
  • Made:
The varieties were crushed/de-stemmed, chilled to 5ºC and pressed. The Semillon, Verdelho and Chardonnay portions were kept separate until final blending. The juices were inoculated with selected aromatic yeast strains and cold fermented at 12 ºC - 15ºC. After fermentation the wines were stabilised, filtered and blended to achieve this style. The Chardonnay was left on extended lees contact to increase body and complexity prior to final blending.
  • Bottled:
    January 2011.
  • Analysis:
