Selected parcels of old vine Muscat Gordo and Black Muscat from the sandy soils of Swan Hill VIC.

The fruit was machine harvested in early March 2011.

The juice was trucked into the winery via tanker from Swan Hill. It was fermented at cool temperatures with an aromatic yeast strain. The fermentation was arrested via chilling and sulphur dioxide added to retain natural sweetness and produce a low alcohol wine. Minimal finings and crossflow filtration were employed before the carbon dioxide levels were increased prior to bottling.

Alcohol: 5.6% T/A: 7.1 g/L pH: 3.31 RS: 90 g/L

Attractive pale pink.

Fresh, grapey florals with a spice lift.

Vibrant floral spice and grape like flavours. Fruity grape sweetness is well balanced with tangy acidity.

Drink whist fresh and young – chilled.

This wine is the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of fun, live music and a picnic on Bimbadgen’s amphitheatre at any ‘A Day on the Green’ show this season!
