To promote the wonderful offerings of our abundant local area and tie in with Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month, Esca Bimbadgen restaurant will open it’s doors every Friday night throughout June exclusively for “Hunter Gatherer”, a showcase of the very best in regional food and wine.

Featuring products from as close as within the Bimbadgen Estate grounds, the Hunter Gatherer dinners will focus primarily on products from the Hunter and Upper Hunter regions. Executive Chef Bradley Teale has created a menu, including canapés and four courses utilising fresh local ingredients from across the many Farmers and Providores within our produce rich region.

Esca’s Tapas and Tango

Hear the music as never before – performed live – and relive some of the most memorable moments in cinema as Sergei Eisenstein’s 1925 cinematic masterpiece Battleship Potemkin is relived with the music by Shostakovich performed by the Sydney Symphony under the baton of renowned film-music specialist Frank Strobel.

A Day on the Green - Presenting The B-52's

The B-52s will roam around Australia later this year and the Scottish wonder twins The Proclaimers are also on their way (ahuh) for a fabulous November/December national concert tour.

Both bands will perform at six ‘a day on the green’ winery events to launch the 2009/10 summer season with the very first concert of the tour being at Bimbadgen Estate, Hunter Valley on Saturday November 21.
