A Day On The Green presents Bryan Adams, Shine A Light tourSaturday 23rd March 2019
We are thrilled to announce the return of Canadian rock icon BRYAN ADAMS to Australia next March with his Shine A Light tour.
For the a day on the green event at Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley on Saturday March 23, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will be joined by very special guests BUSBY MAROU, PIERCE BROTHERS and MAHALIA BARNES.
As a legend in the industry, Bryan is well known for his signature brand of feel-good rock’n’roll, having achieved a string of number ones in more than 40 countries and having sold more than 65 million records worldwide.
BUSBY MAROU are Rockhampton acoustic-folk duo Thomas Busby and Jeremy Marou. Their meaningful lyrics, melodic guitar riffs and delightful harmonies have seen them win over fans and critics alike. They have just released their latest single, Sound Of Summer, which follows on from the band’s hugely successful third studio album, Postcards From The Shell House. Released in 2017, the album debuted at number one on the ARIA chart, and since release has achieved more than 5 million streams across Spotify and Apple to date.
PIERCE BROTHERS have taken their music from busking on the streets of Melbourne to the world. The folk-pop duo’s irresistible energy and world-class live shows have generated a word-of-mouth buzz not seen for some time. Twin brothers Jack and Pat Pierce, the charismatic multi-instrumentalists, have established themselves as figureheads of the folk, blues and roots community while touring relentlessly. Their debut album, Atlas Shoulders has just been released, debuting at number 13 on the ARIA album chart, featuring their latest single Back End Roads.
Joining Bryan Adams across all shows will be Australian singer-songwriter, MAHALIA BARNES. As the daughter of one of Australia’s most successful vocalists, Jimmy Barnes, Mahalia has inherited a powerful, soulful voice that will delight audiences. Mahalia released Hard Expectations earlier this year with her band The Soulmates. She also performed on several tracks across Jimmy Barnes’ Working Class Boy (The Soundtracks) released this past August.
