2023 was a milder year, resulting in a later pick than usual which allowed plenty of time for this Tempranillo fruit to ripen & develop beautifully. With this in mind, we decided to keep this parcel separate as a straight Tempranillo for our 2023 Rose. Once picked, a slight soak on skins for colour & aromatics followed by a cool controlled ferment, the resulting wine is vibrant & concentrated with elegance, highlighting the versatility of Tempranillo.
- Tasting Notes
Crushed, soaked on skins until optimal colour was reached, pressed & treated thereafter like a white wine. Temperature controlled ferment to preserve delicate aromatics
- Colour
Light Fluorescent Pink
- Bouquet
Lifted red fruits, strawberries & cream
- Palate
Fresh and lively acidity, balanced with bright red fruits and a salivating crunch
- Peak Drinking / Cellaring Potential
