The light softens over the vineyards, music carries through the courtyard, and the first drink of the weekend lands in hand. At Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, that moment now has a place.

Sunset Sessions bring it all together each Friday. Live music, great food, wine and cocktails, all set within one of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic estates, where it’s easy to arrive, settle in, and stay a little longer than planned.

Friday Live Music & Happy Hour at the Bimbadgen Pizzeria


From 5pm, the Bimbadgen Pizzeria courtyard shifts into something more relaxed.

Local artists from across the Hunter and Newcastle set the tone, creating a soundtrack that moves with the evening rather than taking it over. It’s the kind of atmosphere you settle into, not rush through.

Woodfired pizzas come out steadily as glasses of Bimbadgen Sparkling and Growers wines are poured for Happy Hour from 5pm to 6:30pm. Whether it’s a wine, beer or an Aperol spritz in hand, this is where your Friday finds its rhythm.

Martini Hour & Balcony Bites at Esca Bimbadgen

Upstairs, the pace shifts slightly.

Esca’s balcony offers a more elevated take on the same moment, overlooking the vineyard as the sun drops behind the range, with live music drifting up from the courtyard below. From 5pm to 6:30pm, Martini Hour brings a line-up of specially priced martinis and house Night Merchant cocktails, designed to start the evening properly.

Alongside it, Balcony Bites feature a selection of Esca favourites at a more relaxed price point. Something light, something to share, or simply something to pair with your drink before dinner.

This Friday, Sorted

Start in the courtyard with pizza and wine, move upstairs for cocktails, or arrive straight to the balcony and stay there, there’s no set way to do it, just a natural flow as the evening unfolds. From 5pm every Friday, walk-ins are always welcome, with bookings recommended for balcony seating at Esca Bimbadgen. Sunset Sessions mark a new addition to Fridays at Bimbadgen, bringing together live music, dining and cocktails across the estate in one seamless experience.

Social Club terms and conditions

I acknowledge that the Bimbadgen Social Club one (1) year membership will be automatically renewed and charged on the renewal date unless otherwise stated. A $40 fee will be charged to the card supplied upon joining. The membership fee is non-refundable if cancelled within the membership year.

The Social Club does not include regular automated deliveries like our other clubs. Upon purchasing the one-year membership, you will receive a coupon for one (1) free bottle of Sparkling Semillon. This offer can only be redeemed online. The coupon code may take up to one week to be emailed to you.

I understand that Bimbadgen reserves the right to discontinue this membership program or alter its terms in the future, including changes to the cost of the membership and/or freight charges. Members will be notified in writing of any such changes. I agree to notify Bimbadgen in writing if I wish to cancel my membership at any time after the minimum membership commitment has passed.

I acknowledge that I have received a copy of these terms and conditions to retain. I certify thatI am over 18 years of age.

By providing my contact details, I acknowledge and agree to receive emails, SMS, and phone calls about Bimbadgen Estate Pty Ltd offers, events, and promotions from Bimbadgen and its agents. Please note: The Esca booking discount does not apply to group bookings of 11 people or more.

Wine Society terms and conditions

I acknowledge that membership in the Bimbadgen Wine Society requires a minimum commitment of one (1) year, during which I agree to purchase two (2) x 12-bottle cases of wine per year from Bimbadgen’s range, delivered in March and September.

I authorise Bimbadgen to debit the credit card supplied during each of the allocation months listed above. If I do not make my personal wine selection by the requested date specified in the allocation notification email, I agree to be charged $231 and to receive the Seasonal Winemaker’s Pack.

I acknowledge that Bimbadgen will notify me of the charge date via email prior to each allocation month.

I understand that Bimbadgen reserves the right to discontinue this membership program or alter its terms at any time, including changes to wine pricing and/or freight charges. Members will be notified in writing of any such changes.

I agree to notify Bimbadgen in writing should I wish to cancel my membership, at any time after the minimum membership commitment has passed.
