At Bimbadgen Estate in the Hunter Valley, our new Vineyard to Table experience invites you beyond the cellar door and into the vineyard itself, where each wine begins, before continuing to Esca Bimbadgen, where it’s best enjoyed alongside a curated dining experience.
For those looking to go beyond the usual tasting, Vineyard to Table offers something more immersive and connected. It’s a progression from vine to glass to plate, designed to create a deeper understanding of the land, the wines, and the people behind them.
Walk the Vineyard, Taste the Difference
The experience begins on McDonalds Road, among the vines that define Bimbadgen.
Led by our team, you’ll move through key vineyard blocks over the course of a guided one-hour walking tour, with a wine glass in hand. Along the way, taste Single Vineyard wines at each site, from Semillon and Chardonnay through to Tempranillo and Shiraz, each one reflecting its own parcel of land.
You’ll gain insight into the history of Bimbadgen and see how subtle changes in site and conditions shape what ends up in the glass, something you simply don’t get from a standard tasting.
From Vineyard to Plate at Esca Bimbadgen
After the Vineyard tasting, the experience continues upstairs at Esca Restaurant.
Here, you’ll settle in for a shared four-course Chef’s Table lunch, designed to reflect the season and complement the wines you’ve just explored. Each dish is thoughtfully paired to highlight the character of the wines, showing how flavour, texture and balance come together at the table.
It’s relaxed, considered, and built around the same philosophy, letting the wine lead, with food that enhances rather than competes. This is how Bimbadgen wine is made to be experienced.

Vineyard to Table runs every Friday and Saturday from 11am, designed for those looking to immerse themselves in the full Bimbadgen story.
Priced at $260 per person, the experience includes a guided vineyard walk, Single Vineyard tastings at each site, and a shared four-course Chef’s Table lunch at Esca, thoughtfully paired with Bimbadgen wines.
As part of the experience, guests will spend time walking through vineyard terrain, so a mild level of fitness and comfortable footwear are recommended.
With limited places available for each session, bookings are essential.
