Esca Speakeasy: A Glamorous Night of Food, Cocktails & Rhythm
Friday 25 August saw Esca Restaurant at Bimbadgen swing into the spirit of the Roaring Twenties for a night of unforgettable indulgence. With the smooth sounds of Zenith Pop Funk setting the tone, guests stepped back in time to a golden era of live music, handcrafted cocktails, and sensational shared dining.
The five-piece band lit up the night with a high-energy set of modern hits and timeless classics, turning Esca into a dance-fuelled celebration under the stars.
Esca’s Head Chef, Rapha, delivered a menu that was nothing short of spectacular, a generous, flavour-packed feast designed to be shared, savoured and remembered.
The star of the show, Bombe Alaska, flambéed tableside, stole the spotlight. A dramatic and delicious finale of orange sponge, pistachio ice cream, strawberry gel and Cointreau-torched meringue. It was as much a visual spectacle as it was a dessert to remember.
The cocktail list paid homage to the era with vintage favourites including the French 75, Sidecar and Mary Pickford, adding a touch of Gatsby-era glamour to the evening.
As the night unfolded, the dance floor came alive, electric with energy, laughter, and champagne-fuelled joy. Esca Speakeasy wasn’t just a dinner, it was an experience.
We’re still buzzing from the incredible atmosphere and can’t wait to welcome you back for the next one.
