For those looking to go beyond a traditional tasting, Vineyard to Table offers something more immersive. Instead, you experience the journey from vine to glass to plate. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the land, the wines and the people behind them.
Walk the Vineyard, Taste the Difference
The experience begins on McDonalds Road, among the vineyards that help define Bimbadgen.
Led by our team, you’ll explore key vineyard blocks during a guided one-hour walking tour. With a wine glass in hand, you’ll taste Single Vineyard wines at the sites where they originate.
Along the way, discover varieties including Semillon, Chardonnay, Tempranillo and Shiraz. Each wine reflects its own parcel of land and the conditions that shape it.
You’ll also learn more about the history of Bimbadgen and the vineyards themselves. As a result, you can see how subtle differences in site influence what eventually reaches the glass.
It’s an insight you simply don’t get from a standard cellar door tasting.
From Vineyard to Plate at Esca Bimbadgen

Here, you’ll settle in for a shared four-course Chef’s Table lunch inspired by the season.
Each course is thoughtfully paired with Bimbadgen wines. In turn, the food helps highlight the character, flavour and texture of the wines you explored earlier.
Rather than competing with the wine, each dish is designed to complement it. The result is a dining experience that brings the vineyard and the plate together.

Plan Your Vineyard to Table Experience
Vineyard to Table runs every Friday and Saturday from 11am. It’s designed for guests wanting to experience more of the Bimbadgen story.
Priced at $260 per person, the experience includes a guided vineyard walk and Single Vineyard tastings. Afterwards, guests enjoy a shared four-course Chef’s Table lunch at Esca with thoughtfully paired Bimbadgen wines.
As part of the experience, guests will spend time walking through vineyard terrain. Therefore, a mild level of fitness and comfortable footwear are recommended.
Places are limited for each session, so bookings are essential.
