Esca Chef de Partie

Reporting to the Head Chef, this role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service in Esca, A la Carte, Weddings, Functions and Beverage operations. This promotes and fosters the desired work culture, which highlights the high standards required for this exceptional business enterprise.

  • Prepare all food items in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Check food rotation to ensure freshness always of all food products.
  • Report for work punctually in the appropriate uniform and be well groomed at all times.
  • Keep the kitchen outlet clean and maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times.
  • Perform duties to the best of abilities after having received training.
  • Comply with all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all fire, emergency and security procedures.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and use any safety equipment provided.
  • Take reasonable care of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions.
  • Report any injuries, near-miss incidents or workplace hazards to immediate Supervisor.
  • Cooperate with Management in the implementation of OHS initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties that are assigned by your superior.
  • Assist in ordering.
  • Assist in menu planning.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time.

The successful applicant will have solid experience within a food and beverage environment, the ability to work flexible hours and be a great team player.

Due to the location, you must have your own transport.

Concert Casuals

Each year, Bimbadgen host the A Day on the Green concert series. These events cater for up to 10,000 people, and we are currently accepting expressions of interest for casual bar staff, food stall and information area roles.

All bar staff positions require a current NSW RSA Competency Card.

Once concerts dates are confirmed for the 2017-18 concert season, a member of our events team will contact you to confirm your availability. Preference is given to those who have worked for us before.
